Ever since we were kids we all had our favourite superheroes or comic book heroes and wanted to be just like them and creating a superhero series is a challenge on its own. Team Arrow has done a tremendous job. A number of lines in the show will get you hooked and make you love and connect to the characters in it; which is very important for a fiction.

This show showcases a rich and talented cast

Acting is a vital point here, the series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance. Stephen Amell does a real fine job characterizing the Green Arrow/Oliver Queen. Paul Blackthorne is great as a cop. Other characters such as Colon Donnel, Susana Thompson are doing well too. It’s a nice superhero series, you will love it.

Arrow is a tale of transformation

After a brutal shipwreck Oliver Queen, who is a billionaire playboy went missing and was believed to be dead for five years until being found on a remote island in Pacific . When he returns to his home in Starling city, his mother, sister and best friend Tommy welcome him. Oliver changed due to his prolonged experience at the island and he hides about the person he has become. But, he desperately wanted to make up for his past wrong doings. As he reconnects with the people he is close to he creates the character of Arrow- the vigilante secretly to compensate to his bad deeds, to fight for the evil in the society and restore Starling City to its former prestige. By the day, Arrow plays the role of wealthy, carefree Oliver Queen surrounded by his bodyguard. He has to be very careful about his identity as his love interest’s father is a detective and is after him and his mother appears to be a cruel personality than one could ever think off.

Journey from Oliver Queen to being the Arrow

Arrow features two storylines – one in the present, and the other, shown in flashback, during Arrow’s time on the island five years before his rescue. These flashbacks are used to illustrate how Oliver transformed into the man that returns to Starling City.
The whole idea of the show is to explore how he went from the person that he was when he left the island which is contrasting he’s a bit of jerk he’s spoiled and he comes off it very different so we will see how he gets there. The series is based on the outlook of humanity and a realistic superhero story, Arrow doesn’t possess any actual superhero power but is skilled in archery and Martial arts. This show has some of the soap opera vibes, but it is toned down to a considerable level.

Arrow reminds us of Smallville type storytelling

Arrow, a modernization of green arrow comic, adopts a similar style and tone as that of Smallville series and appears to appeal to viewers of all ages. In season one, characters are great; each one has a storyline which is interesting. There are lengthy flashbacks but for the show, it’s a good idea. You have a lot to think in between the episodes as there can be few twists you may not expect. The plot is mysterious enough to keep viewers interested. In season 2 a lot changes and gets better and gets into the depth of characters. Involves both present and past and gets intense and rested to a conclusion.

In season 2 a lot changes and gets better and into the depth of characters. Involves both present and past and gets intense and rested to a conclusion in the finale. The season shows more of the flashbacks which are compelling. Arrow is popular for its mystery. Season 1 had a lot of twists apparently which season 3 seemed to miss that this time in flashbacks instead of being on the island he is in Hong Kong. Apart from that Arrow continued to be action packed. Season 4 has not finished yet.

Good reception for the green hooded vigilante

Overall the show has got great ratings and won some prestigious awards worldwide. It has intense action, the story is realistic without the bizarre loopholes that comic adaptations usually have. The plot is very good, the crime scenes never seem to end. It differs from other old superhero movies and dramas it is much rough and dark, also arrow seems to be mainly after white collared criminals rather than some super-villains bent on world domination fighting scenes are superb and music is perfect for the show. It’s a new type of show in superhero oriented fiction, one will definitely enjoy watching it.
