The show shows the connection of main characters with their family in detail. Breaking Bad received appreciation from many critics and numerous nominations and awards, acting is top class.

Jimmy Mcgill is one such character that makes you feel for him

When we left Saul in the Breaking Bad, he was desperate to disappear into a new life. So, nothing about Saul’s future is certain, but his past is pretty clear.
Jimmy was born in a small city of Cicero, Illinois. He has an elder brother Chuck, who graduated in college and is a successful lawyer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jimmy used to work for his father’s small store at the corner and used to steal money from there sometimes, which eventually led to the bankruptcy of the store. Later, his father died nobody cried harder than Jimmy.

He used to play scams to earn money, so his close friends named him ‘ Slippin Jimmy’. He used to trick people and trade cash for Rolex watches. He was married once, but his wife cheated on him which led to divorce. Once he was arrested for assault, damage to property and as a result being labelled as a sex offender. Jimmy calls Chuck through his mother to visit him in the town. He tells him to use his power and magic and save Jimmy from the case, Chuck agrees to help as Jimmy tells him if he does not help his life would be over. Chuck tells him that his image should not get spoiled and i reply Jimmy says he would do anything for Chuck. Jimmy moves out to Albuquerque with brother to make a living, he starts working in the mail room at Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill. Jimmy never turned back to his previous life since then; it was only after his mother’s death which was 7 years after he moved to Albuquerque that he went home. Jimmy earned is Law degree online. But his brother does not see him as a real lawyer. Chuck was frustrated that he worked so hard for the degree and Jimmy got it that easily. So, he tries hard to prevent Jimmy becoming a partner at Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill. He causes a lot of pressure for his brother at the agency as Chuck becomes the part of the same firm. But he tackles it and becomes a god criminal lawyer; he struggles sometimes but also takes care of his brother Chuck, his made-up name is a play on words to attract clients: “‘S’all good, man!” becomes the faux-Jewish “Saul Goodman”. Also, his name got tarnished; so he had to leave the town, come up with a new name and make new connections. Saul Goodman of the future might be embarrassed by the Jimmy McGill we saw in the past.

W White : Heisenberg :: J Mcgill : Saul Goodman

It’s a slow journey of McGill; he tries hard not to be Saul and then just gives up for some reason which is quite painful. That’s how it’s going to be. McGill is more likeable guy and a dimensional character. Even though with a different name in Better Call Saul, we know Saul is somewhere there. The portrayal of the character is great, the storyline is good and the transformation of Saul Goodman from Jimmy McGill is excellent combining both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul shows. The writing, directing and acting – as well as the production values – are top notch, and if what we’ve seen so far is anything to go by, we’re in for a great season of a very promising new show.
